Hands-on Review:- Xiaomi Redmi Note 3

1. Introduction

The Redmi Note 3 is a thoughtfully targeted device with a premium metal build, flagship-grade specs, and an iconic MIUI launcher. The third device of the series upgrades design of the Redmi Note 2 just three months after its premiere, while keeping the same specs, but improving the security with a fingerprint scanner.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 hit the shelves in August 2015 and the dust from this launch didn't even had a chance of settling before the Redmi Note 3 got official.

Or perhaps we should be looking at the Redmi Note 3 as the Pro version of the Redmi Note 2 (or Prime as Xiaomi calls those) - it costs a few bucks more and improves on the usability. The metal shell boosts the aesthetics and handling, the fingerprint reader unlocks the screen faster than a PIN number, while the dual-LED dual-tone flash may help for a better white balance when taking flash photos. And there is the bigger battery to keep the phone running for longer.

3. Main disadvantages

-No scratch resistant front glass

-No NFC

-Battery not removable

-No microSD expansion

4. In my opinion (Read the Disclaimer above before reading the following)

Please launch its Snapdragon 808 variant in India with few upgrades like gorilla glass protection and expandable storage upto at least 64 GB with price tag of  200$ .

Hope this version also gets marshmallow out of the box and have a good battery optimizer

I’m using this phone from 1week...

1. Performence is very good

2. Overall performance is not bad but I really wonder why 4,000 mAh life too fast to dry and consume if compares to Xiaomi M3 only 3,010 mAh. 

I'm worry this phone battery is below 3,000 mAh because once fully charged and switch on few minutes battery standby show 95%. One reason I choose this phone is because of longer battery life & hopefully this problem can fix it as soon as possible.

I would take 32 GB. You better choose 32GB version because there is not slot for micro SD card

And remember if you got 32GB you probably have less space with all the system on it

Change your MIUI you will get good result also.

Use CM launcher

By using it I found that...
1.performence is very good
2.good camera
3.no overheating problem
4.good build quality
5.finger print sensor is really fast

But…
This phone color is little dry
4000mah Li-Po battery is not bad...but Galaxy J7 3000mah battery life is longer than Redmi note3...
But this phone is good choice for me...
it price is lower...

My phone is silver color, ram 3 GB storage 32 GB....

Screen color is little dry...
There is no recovery mode...so you can´t factory reset form recovery...
front camera is dark...
4000mah battery is drain little fast...

Best Smartphone money can buy up to date.

Good specs phone and yet not selling expensive! But then it's too big to be preferred by compact phone lover. Hope the Redmi 3 will have the same spec with smaller frame or come out another version of mi4 to use the mediatek helio x10 so the price will be cheaper.

Out of 16GB inbuilt storage, users will get almost 9.5GB " That lack of expansion capability and the unprotected screen are deal breakers

It cannot play data game and how can I do for the big game in Redmi note 3. 2 ram. Can you help me? What can I do for the game?

Please xiaomi. Provide a SD card slot in Indian version. We are eagerly waiting for it. Finally Xiaomi will release this phone in India with SD 808

Well iPhone battery also non removable as well as no memory card. Because iPhone never hangs while android has an issue of hanging particularly with low ram devices
