1. Introduction
Gionee is all set to launch the Elife S Plus phablet in India, apparently. Teasing the device on its Facebook page is part of the story, but the folks over at PhoneRadarhave also managed to get their hands on a live unit and some press materials
The smartphone will come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 3, though the HD resolution isn't spectacular. It will be powered by the Mediatek MT6753 chipset with an octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. Built-in storage is quoted at 16GB with the option for expansion via microSD. #GooglePlusTips
A 13MP primary camera on the back is paired with a single-LED flash, while the selfie shooter is a 5MP unit. Battery capacity is listed at 3,150mAh and filling up is done through the USB Type-C port on the bottom.
The Gionee Elife S Plus will boot Android 5.1.1
Lollipop with the company's home-grown Amigo OS on top, in its 3.1 iteration.
The LTE-enabled smartphone will have dual-SIM capability and all of the above
will be yours for INR 16,999 ($260).

Gionee s plus phone last 10 days. My option this is poor... more this is great phone on this price
And it has a good display good camera... But I am facing problems with hit... And the c type USB damn... Battery backup is not also good.... It's average...

I am thinking of buying one soon. I want to confirm some features of this phone from those who have bought and used it.
1. What type of Sim does it support(Micro or regular mini sim?)
2.Does its camera have flash available?
After keenly observe I found that it has nothing special in this phone.
3. very very poor pixel density
4.poor camera. even Xiaomi Redmi 2 has much better camera(8mp) than gionee (13mp)
5.No fast charging option. Battery take at least 3 HR for full charge.
6. For this price range(16999/-)this phone is very bad deal.

I want to Buy Gionee S Plus it is better or not then other phone... more I been using this phone for almost 5 days now, one of the most wonderful phones, I ever used. Very sleek, Elegant ( specially Gold color ). Camera is very fast, Battery last for almost 10~11 hours with normal usage. Still working on Battery and performance at smartfonearena.

Phone is very nice and specially blue color model looks superb. AMOLED screen is bright and sharp. Out of 16 GB internal memory, 5.00GB used by system, 1.69 GB by data storage,1.32 GB by Apps, others for Audio, Pictures, downloads, Misc. and remaining 9.3 GB is totally free to use.
Loaded with Android 5.1,Kernel version 3.10.65+ and system version amigo3.1. Touch response is nice and handset is handy. Still I cannot say about battery life and will tell review of regarding battery life later on. Screen guard and transparent body case along with ear plug(some companies are not provide with box like) are in the box.
